Renae holds a B.A. in Journalism and Communications from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master’s in Human Resources Development Leadership (MHRDL) from the University of Texas at Austin through a collaboration with the College of Education and the McCombs School of Business. With over 25 years in Human Resources Management and Business Development, she specializes in executive coaching, recruitment, leadership training, and consulting. Her career includes roles with the City of Austin, multiple High-Tech companies, and ongoing work as an HR Consultant and Executive Recruiter and Coach. She along with her husband developed, founded, and managed Magnolia Ranch Estates, a 123-acre subdivision in Pflugerville, pursuing her passion as a woman-owned business to acquire land and create a community of dream homes. Since 2016, Renae has served on the Pflugerville ISD Board of Trustees, including three years as the immediate past President and one year as Vice President. She has been a steadfast influence in the Pflugerville community serving through leadership, volunteerism, and advocating for student success. A Leadership Pflugerville graduate, she has served on the boards of the Pflugerville Education Foundation, Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce, and previously on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Renae has led strategic initiatives, collaborated with state and local leaders, and advocated for educational excellence. Her leadership has been recognized through numerous awards, including the Career and Technical Association of Texas Champion of the Year and the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce’s “Pfabulous” Community Leader and Business Contributor of the Year. Renae leads a consultant business specializing in executive recruitment, HR consulting, and leadership coaching. partnering with small and large organizations to provide strategic HR support, including executive search for C-suite leaders and superintendents, executive coaching, strategic planning, organizational development, compensation design, HRIS management, and interim HR leadership. As a servant leader, Renae is passionate about ensuring all students succeed academically and are prepared for college, trades, or careers. She has also served in her community as PTO President, Booster Club President, VP of Pflugerville soccer league, President of the Pflugerville Baseball Little League, and Girl Scout Leader and Trainer. She is also an active church leader and a strong supporter of teachers, students, and parents. Renae enjoys cooking, sewing, reading, spending time with her family including her 2 grandchildren and mentoring students.
