Mary Foss is the Managing Owner of West Pecan Coffee + Beer and the Pecan Street Collective, two community-focused ventures based in Pflugerville, Texas. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management from the University of Idaho. In 2018, Mary and her husband, Josh, opened West Pecan Coffee + Beer with a vision to create a welcoming space for people to gather over craft coffee, locally brewed beer, and small bites. The café has since become a beloved staple in the Pflugerville community. Through its monthly Sip & Support program, West Pecan donates a portion of proceeds to local nonprofit organizations, further deepening its community impact. In 2019, Mary launched the Pecan Street Collective, which began with just five vendors on the café’s front porch. It has since grown into a thriving local market, now hosting over 60 vendors at each event across various locations in Downtown Pflugerville. The Collective provides a platform for local makers, artists, and small businesses to showcase their work and connect with the community. Mary is passionate about creating spaces that foster connection, creativity, and community support—values that are at the heart of both of her businesses.
