Turn your business idea into a plan you can act on during Day 1 of Venture Pfest 2026.

Starting a business takes more than a great idea. This hands-on workshop is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners determine whether their idea solves a real problem, understand the customers they want to serve, and build a stronger foundation before investing significant time or money. Breakfast provided at no cost.

Participants will explore customer and market validation, learn how to test demand and gather meaningful feedback, and work through practical exercises to map their idea, customer, solution, and validation strategy.

The second half of the program focuses on financial readiness. Attendees will learn the essential numbers every business owner should understand, including revenue, expenses, profit, pricing, startup costs, break-even basics, and cash flow. Participants will also identify financial warning signs and complete a first financial checkup for their business.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will leave with clearer next steps for validating their idea and strengthening the financial foundation of their business.

Topics include: idea validation, customer discovery, market validation, financial fundamentals, pricing, startup costs, cash flow, break-even basics, and hands-on business planning.
