Doug Weiss
Doug Weiss has served as the Mayor of Pflugerville since December 2025 and brings extensive experience in community leadership, economic development and technology to the role. Before being elected mayor, he served nine years on the Pflugerville City Council and more than a decade on the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation Board of Directors, including as board president. Earlier this year, Weiss was elected chair of the Capital Area Council of Governments, a regional organization serving Central Texas communities across a 10-county area. Closer to home, he has also held leadership positions with the Rotary Club of Pflugerville and Pflugerville Education Foundation. Professionally, Weiss holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and has built a successful career in the software and e-commerce sector.
