Harshal Shah is a community-centered venture catalyst, strategic leader, and Founder & CEO of The Venture Build (TVB), a growth network ecosystem based in Austin, Texas. He is an advisor to the entrepreneurship and innovation academy, an initiative by the Office for the Future at Austin Community College. With more than 25 years of experience spanning technology, healthcare, education, and applied AI, Harshal has led ventures and scaled operations across domains and geographies. He has built revenue portfolios, managed several P&Ls, and helped numerous organizations navigate transformation at scale. A former President & current board member of TiE Austin, Harshal continues to serve on multiple boards and advises startups, nonprofits, and academic institutions. His work is rooted in fostering collaboration, enabling leadership, and accelerating innovation — from early-stage AI ventures to digital health systems to applied learning ecosystems. Harshal’s mission is simple: to build ventures, communities, and systems that outlast the hype — and deliver real, measurable impact.
